terms and conditions

 

Delivery to a Leeds postal code will ALWAYS be delivered by a Chauf-fleur driver.

Our delivery service operates Monday to Saturday, and all deliveries will be delivered between 8.00am and 6.00pm. We regret we are unable to give more accurate delivery times. Out of hours and Sunday deliveries can be made with prior arrangement. The charge for this will be £ P.O.A 

We reserve the right not to accept orders over the Christmas period and any other times which will be posted on this website.

Please ensure that all orders collected for the Chauf-fleur delivery service, have the correct and full address, including postal codes, and full name and contact telephone number of recipient. Should we encounter any difficulties when delivering your flowers, we will contact you on the telephone number which you provide us with on your completed delivery sheet. Chauf-fleur will not be held responsible for any order which is not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information been provided by you when completing your delivery sheet.

The recipients address; if there is no one in when our driver calls at the address given, a card will be left for the recipient to contact Chauf-fleur so that we can arrange a redelivery. We will attempt one additional delivery at no extra cost. Should the second delivery attempt fail, we will contact you to arrange a further delivery, at which time an additional delivery charge will be incurred.

If it is possible for the delivery to be left with a neighbour, our driver will do so, or, if alternative instructions have been given ( ie. can be left in greenhouse ), our driver will do so, and leave a card for the recipient telling them where their delivery has been left.

Flower deliveries which are sent to hotels, or offices, will be left at the main reception. The person on reception who signs for the flowers will be accepted as proof of delivery. If the order is to be delivered to a hospital, please ensure that we have the full name of the recipient, along with the correct ward number and floor number.

All deliveries we deliver on your behalf, must have a completed delivery sheet ready for our driver when he calls to collect the item. The delivery charge must be paid in full on collection, and a receipt will be presented.

 

CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel a delivery, you must notify us by phone, as soon as possible. If the delivery has already been made, a charge will be made to collect the item and return it back to yourselves.

 

LIABILITY

Should you not be entirely satisfied with the delivery of your floral item, or if you believe that they have been damaged, we will shall have no liabilty to you unless you notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Chauf-fleur will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses how or what so ever arising out of any problem you notify us under this condition. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation .

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver floral products you have arranged for delivery or any delay in doing so that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including accident, flood, fire or explosion.

Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts ( rights of third parties ) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement, this does not affect any right remedy of a third party that exists or is available from the Act.

 

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

We respect the privacy of all our customers. We will not monitor, edit or disclose any personal information about you, your company or your accounts, including any content without prior permission, unless we are required to do so to conform with any legal requirements or to comply with any legal process.

We shall ensure that we comply with requirements of all current data protection legislation, including without any limitation, the Data Protection Act 1998. We shall only use data received from you for the purpose of fulfilling our obligations under these terms and conditions.

These TERMS AND CONDITIONS  shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit the exclusive juristriction of the English Courts.
